holland !

I have visited a few places in the onsite trip from my previous company.I should say that was one of the hidden agendas in my onsite trip !! The first one was to a place called Holland - a place some 3 hrs drive from where we stayed.
As the name suggests, it’s a place which has Dutch shops and all. Saw a tulip garden which was filled with beautiful tulip flowers. They were good, though they were the remains of the tulip festival that was over. Had to pay an entry fee of about 5 $ to see them!! Since it was the first trip for most of us, we could find ourselves engaged in converting that amount into indian rupees !!
Took a couple of photos in the midst of those flowers. Everyone in our group had this wonderful idea of taking their photos in singles. They were posing like their favourite heroes in the garden...As i didn't have any such dreams, i was basically roaming around irritating them with some comments.
There was nothing more to see there so moved to the next destination - the Ottawa beach, which has been bestowed with the beauty of Lake Michigan. The sight itself gave so many feelings. Such a big lake and its vast like an ocean without any waves. I never thought a lake could be so huge. Here it is, spanning endlessly, touching the horizon at the other end !! The water was so cold and couldn’t step or rather swim.
There were a lot of tourists, all interested in taking a sun bath, which caught our eyes more than the beauty of the lake!! People were involved in a lot of activities like football and all. I also played something with my colleagues. Here also, taking snaps was the main agenda. Caught some good pictures of the lake which can remain in memories for a long time.
