Spotted!

Spot a Leopard or some equally beautiful Spots!!

Been into a new hobby, photography and it's in the early amateurish stages. Like every initial photos, you start with dragonflies, butterflies and try to express the beauty of flora & fauna. Some of them come in great to your expectations and that attracts an internal hue and cry where you decide to post in Instagram and gather likes! In one of such walks to capture a butterfly, I came across this and was happy to get a cleaner shot.

Breakfast with Buddha! by Roland Merrullo

What did I feel about this? Not an overly narrated push some spirituality guide!! It does not even say that it has a spiritual link but anyways we could guess. A simple writing of the profound truth that highlights to be the best by doing good. The structure, the idea and the way it is presented, all deserves to be mentioned. I was happy reading it and I guess, that's all it matters.

Charlie!

Not sure what was captivating more - Was it the vibrant colors all throughout or the beauty in each and every frame?

The actress with grace and a well-crafted hero role with rightly placed characters, add a unique elegance to the movie in its totality. I adored the way it portrayed love to everyone around us. I am not a critique to scan but it was a celebration of life for me - a journey, not just about travel, but an inner one that showed all the facets of being and doing good, without any stern tone that suggested so. Something that I am inspired about and a right momentum to pursue!

Moments in Monsoon

There is a favorite monsoon moment for all of us - we tie that to a memory from childhood or it could be as simple as missing a bus or a passing glimpse at a pretty face through a rain washed window. We nurture these memories in the alcoves of our mind like a flower pressed between the pages of a book, so securely kept in our attic. We keep skipping steps in those wooden staircases, make the olden doors cringe, create loud thuds to awaken a sleeping grandpa in the hallway, all to do a frantic search for this treasure and just the surety of it being safe gives us the confidence to take on the world. A monsoon memory is just like that for me - so special and it transports me to the nostalgia of many years and I could still remember the tiny little drops cradled in the palm of my hand..

Each drop with a tale to tell..

Ah Negativity!

Had to get home from the airport after a small vacation. Due to ‘challenges' in getting my favorite Uber, I had to resort to the prepaid option. As was the norm, with the printed slip in hand, I was lugging my bags and walked the exit ramp towards the array of white colored sedans with many drivers lazing away. We spotted our driver and with a genuine excitement, he took the slip from me - a marked difference in his facial expressions on reading the destination. Not to take that as an omen, we stepped in the car to unwind from the 'vacation blues’.

It was one whale of a trip - the driver was rambling on and on and was cussing every road condition. Even before he turned the ignition, he was acting all clueless on the direction to go and was considering the longest route. He was even complaining on the traffic jams, packed alleys and so on. I was on the verge of creating a ruckus, but somehow held on to my steely willpower - well, that was an exaggeration! Anyways, the climax was that there was a difference of only few kilometers and his additional whining was of not much use.

This simple incident made me think. Are we making the people around us super uncomfortable by being negative? Time to reboot - I have attempted it multiple times and may be try again. After all, it is worth it!!
