A Town Called Panic

Some movies, even though they belong to the category of animation, which could very well be under estimated, could capture minds and keep you amazed by the sheer creative energy! I got a hint of this when I watched the Belgian movie ‘A Town Called Panic’. This Belgian stop-motion animated film directed by Stéphane Aubier and Vincent Patar, stars three plastic toys named Cowboy, Indian and Horse.
On the event of Horse’s birthday, Cowboy and Indian order a gigantic pile of bricks for making a barbeque as the gift which triggers of a series of wacky events including the one in which the trio chase down the ‘creature’ who stole their walls. Each scene is done well with the minute details captured in the frame – I could even observe the taps for both hot and cold water J A small blooming romance and the way the horse dreams was putting a smile!
A movie worth watching though there were only four of us in the theater!!!!
