As the world folds its thoughts
To sleep the dusk and wait for dawn
I tune my mind for a dream
The moment we spent, with you my side

You came in bright, the mood so right
The classy dress and trancing looks
The scent of you to sate my tone
As we sped, for a coffee break

The place was calm with no one close
The sweetish cake to waft my mind
As I hummed my lines of muse
The way I feel, with you in soul

I took your hand, a long lost greed
As we sat, in a silent world
I cupped your face with my palms
The way you hold a pretty rose

The love I felt as I saw your eyes
The words I dropped to prove it all
The hint of tear like a darling pearl
And a smile to say it's fine

I can trade my shards of life
For this time that touched my heart
And I would keep, this night for long
As a gift, send by you
