I was thinking
Of you and your smiling face
Of your jet black hair
Brushing your slender shoulders
The curls it winds
Taking my mind in its sweep
Of the eyelashes that hold
A treasure trove of your dreamy eyes
The one that gently flutters
Taking me for a second look
Of your eyes so deep
A labyrinth where I am lost
Of a nose that flares
Noting a tinkle of thrill
Of lips that tremble
In a tenderly tone
And where I wish
My name lies asleep
Of your head that sways
In your moods of happiness
Of your demure walk
Making my heart skip a beat
Of your warm breath
And a sudden scare
When I pull you close
In my dreams
That’s when I know
You are just a heartbeat away…..
