A rain to blame!
Tuesday, July 21, 2009My mind was traced with strokes of pain
Like a painting with tears in vogue
Swaying past the lanes of woes
An unborn fear; yet so near and real
As I mulled over the weekend spent
The plan to see and share some thoughts
To be free from office chores
To spend some time with you in mind
The mode of fate had its own twirl
And when you said to chuck the plan
For, the sky was grey with clouds in mold
Like some ants that walk in line
But I lost me in the worldly space
I felt so lone and pinned by grief
A sea of muse to gulf me far
A tune of rage that hummed my mind
I spoke to you to gain me back
The way you chide to tease my mind
The way you warn my cautious thoughts
I was warmed for the care you give
But when I saw the sky so clear
Not a stain of cloud in view
I miss you more for I lost the chance
And it's only the rain to blame
