A Passing Phase !

As my age takes a toll
Years those fly in a rage
A shard of life in a reel
Like a techni-color dream

A day that gave me shape and soul
In the world of vivid lives
Me with eyes so shut and charming looks
As fragile as a little pup

The petite yelps
And the slender moves
A stream of tears welling up
In my mom’s wondrous eyes

The cozy warmth
And the gentle pats
As I fuse on to mom
Sucking milk full of life

The aura of glee
When I step out first
A smile that spreads
When I grope, my father’s hand

When I dress to walk to school
And to write from ‘a to z’
A look that gleams
Which says it all

A tone that change
When I am the naughty one
The silly fights
With a brother who loves

A sudden glow
As my birthday’s pass
A content feel
As I give, my paycheck one

The soft giggles
When a blush lines my cheek
As the backdrop set
For a nuptial, that blooms so soon

And when I see kids of mine
Lulled to sleep by my wife
Then I know, of a truth
Life is just, a passing phase
